TicketsDrake Women’s Basketball season ticket holders and Bulldog Club members are given the first opportunity to request tickets to the NCAA First Round and have received an email with ticket request instructions. The priority period for Season Ticket Holders and Bulldog Club members will close at noon on Tuesday, March 14. Making a ticket request does not guarantee tickets, as they are based on availability and Drake Athletics Priority Points System (DAPPS). Those who have requested tickets will be notified by Tuesday afternoon if they have been awarded tickets or not. If any tickets remain, they will be made available to Drake fans and the general public at noon on Tuesday, March 14. Seats will be allocated based on DAPPS. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Drake Athletics Ticket Office at 515-271-DOGS (3647). Print Friendly Version Story Links The No. 20/18 Drake University women’s basketball team (28-4) is a No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament and the Bulldogs will play at No. 7 seed Kansas State (22-10) Saturday, March 18, it was announced Monday night on the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show on ESPN. The first-round game in Manhattan, Kan., will start at 3 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN2. Drake earned the Missouri Valley Conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament berth by winning its sixth MVC Tournament title on Sunday against UNI. The Bulldogs are making their 11th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament and first NCAA appearance since 2007. In 2007, Drake lost to eventual NCAA champion Tennessee.
