Have you ever bought a scorebook and kept the box scores of your favorite baseball team? I know several people who do. They are so into the sport that this is a way to follow the games closer, and also a way to relive them at a later date. At the end of the season, they have a complete history of that year. To some of us this might be overkill or a boring pass time, but all of us do something that seems odd to others. I am sure this is a way to relieve the stress that some fans feel while following their favorite team. Baseball is a slow-paced game, so this is also a way to pass the time between at bats. What is the old saying? “Don’t knock it until you try it. You just might like it!” I know that shut- ins need something to help pass the time, and this sounds like a great way to pass the time of day during the baseball season. Who is to say that this hobby is any more unusual than collecting buttons or anything you can thing of to collect. I would think that in the middle of the winter it would help pass the time by reliving some of the great games of the summer past. You might want to try it if you have trouble sitting through a game.
