Even the ref is getting noticed.Today’s head official is Mike Defee, known for his sizable biceps. Defee, known as “Beef Ref,” has developed something of a cult following on college football Twitter in recent years.It’s a nice day in Dallas, with temperatures in the mid-50s and plenty of sunlight. Defee and his crew are in their shirtsleeves, which is his time to shine.Even Gus Johnson has praised Defee’s physique on multiple occasions, saying he’s clearly been working hard in the weight room.
