But that doesn’t mean he feels an SEC team should have gotten the top spot instead.In his weekly radio spot on WJOX, Finebaum revealed that he would have picked Ohio State No. 1 if he had a vote. He explained that he feels Ohio State looks “so perfect right now.” Finebaum also added that he was not completely sold on Alabama’s defense.Via 247Sports:“I hate to be blasphemous on JOX — I don’t have a vote — but I would have voted Ohio State No. 1… I just think, you know, against average opposition, but I just think they look so perfect right now. And I am still officially concerned about Alabama’s defense…”Clemson barely beat out North Carolina this weekend thanks to a well-defended two-point conversion, winning 21-20. Alabama, meanwhile, blew out Ole Miss. Oklahoma and Auburn similarly got blowout wins.last_img
