OSU is in the hunt to poach one of Texas Tech’s 12 commitments in the 2020 class: Larry Moore.Moore, a 6-foot-5, 275 pound offensive tackle from Missouri City, Texas, announced that OSU entered the mix this past week, less than two weeks removed from his commitment to the Red Raiders. It’s the first activity to take place since his June 23 commitment.Getting Moore would be a good steal on two fronts. The first of which is obvious: he’s a tackle with ideal size to excel at the next level at the position. And thus far OSU only has one commitment from a tackle in the class with Cade Bennett. The second motivating factor for OSU is that a Moore addition for OSU would benefit OSU while also hurting a conference rival in Tech, which is still filling out its recruiting class this cycle. While Moore is rated out as a three-star recruit, his services seem to be in high demand even before his Tech pledge. Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, Georgia Tech and nearly a dozen others have offered and more could be coming. If OSU can nab Moore he’d be the fourth offensive lineman to pledge to the Pokes in the 2020 cycle and likely the final piece for the unit in the class to go with Eli Russ, Trent Pullen and Cade Bennett.
