Renault Kwid facelift revealed in new pics

The hatchback has been a crowd favourite ever since it was launched in 2015 with more than 3 lakh units already sold. While Renault is set to introduce the Kwid facelift in the Indian market, the Climber variant of the updated hatchback has been spotted completely undisguised.The spy-images of the Renault Kwid facelift (Climber trim) have been posted online by The front fascia of the updated Kwid looks completely different with a new set of split headlamps, triple slat grille in place of the honeycomb design and redesigned bumper. The grille is flanked by LED DRLs, while the headlight is placed on the bumper. The tail-lamps have been redesigned and the reflectors have been vertically stacked. At present, the hatchback gets a 0.8-litre petrol motor making 54 bhp and 72 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre petrol mill delivering 67 bhp and 91 Nm of torque. Both the powertrains get a standard 5-speed manual transmission with the Kwid 1.0-litre having an option for 5-speed automatic transmission.advertisementAt present, Renault Kwid is available in the price range of Rs 2.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 4.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The facelift might be priced a tad higher.
